The Polygon Game Developers Scientific Circle has been active at the Warsaw University of Technology since 2009, creating a rich community that includes many game development enthusiasts as well as professionals in the field. The circle was founded by a group of enthusiasts who wanted to exchange knowledge and experience together, as well as support each other in creating their own projects. Polygon organizes weekly meetings, open to all, taking the form of lectures on topics closely related to various aspects of the game development process. The video game development team competition was first held in 2008 at the Institute of Computer Science, Faculty of FTIMS, Technical University of Lodz. These subjects are compulsory for the specialty of Computer Games and Simulation Technologies and optional for the others.
